The 'Map Properties' tools

Property mapping is the process where you can map or transport properties from one object to another object, or upscale properties within an object. These tools are combined under the Map Properties button which is accessible from the following strips:

model > Rock Properties > Tools > Map Properties

model > Facies >Tools > Map Properties

Important You can also use the Property Mapping Tool under the Tools workspace to map one or more properties between volumetric objects such as 3D grids, 3D meshes, and seismic volumes.

The following tools are available under the 'Map Properties' button:

3D Grid to Point Set Map grid properties to a point set.

Pseudolog from Volume Calculate logs for wells (both planned and existing) that intersect a selected geological grid or seismic volume.

Upscale Grid Property Upscale grid properties within a single 3D grid using various upscaling methods and optional mapping filters.
